Dauphin Co., Pennsylvania:
We LOVE these beautifully decorated gift bags created by the ladies at First Church Hershey Women's Retreat! Plans are underway for us to fill them with special items for our next visit to our adopted strip clubs planned for Saturday, February 15th!
The theme for this visit is ‘pampering’, and our gift bag coordinator has been busy collecting various items such as lip gloss, foot lotion, band-aids, and Bath & Body products!
We're excited for this next visit and we trust that the ladies at the clubs are going to love their gift bags, and therefore, feel LOVED and cared for!
Also on February 15, the same day as our PA visits, the Hollywood Hustler - location of our Nashville billboard, will receive a cupcake visit by Erin and her team from Nashville Strip Church!
The plan is for them to deliver beautifully decorated pink cupcakes from a local bakery along with this simple message: "The board above your store is not against you personally but FOR the dignity and value of all women regardless of where they are in life; you are loved, and every daughter and son we meet is loved!"
May the HH employees understand this, just as one of our girls in PA explained it to a truck driver: ‘they just want to make sure we’re being respected, that’s all!’
Oklahoma City, OK:
Eve Ministries has been doing amazing work sharing love in an area in OKC known for its stretch of strip clubs.
Discussions for another She's Somebody's Daughter billboard to be posted in this area have begun. So just as we did in PA, it is our desire to share the vision and heart of SSD first and build relationships with those who work in and own the clubs. We aim to love, not to condemn and shame.
Therefore, Eve Ministries has invited us along on their visits to the clubs in March. We are very excited about this development and will keep you posted!
Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we reach out across the country to share love in practical ways with those working in the sex industry.
Happy Valentine's Day to you, too - may you also feel loved and valued!
